Thyroid cancer starts in the cells of the thyroid. It can often go undetected.
It is estimated that in 2022: 6,700 Canadians will be diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
In 2022, an estimated 4,800 women will be diagnosed with thyroid cancer and 130 will die from it.
Welcome to Thyroid BC Society. We are proud to be the first of our kind in Vancouver, BC to help increase awareness and advocacy towards thyroid cancer. We collaborate with the community entrepreneurs and various health care providers to collectively creater a larger voice for thyroid cancer.
